Alright, alright... I've been catching some heat for not doing enough to promote the books I've written, so let's fix that.
After my first novel, Humor and Madness, I decided to take a different path with my second book, Our Life: Family Dinner.
Our Life: Family Dinner is a hilarious, chaotic, and surprisingly heartfelt love letter to dysfunctional families everywhere. It follows a family held together by sarcasm, duct tape, stubbornness, and the raw, unspoken power of Sunday dinner.
Inspired by everyday life and working-class America, the novel explores the messy reality of family relationships and the truth that love often survives not through order and perfection, but through complete and total chaos. It's a story about resilience, absurdity, unconditional love, and the beautiful disasters that make us who we are.
At its core, Our Life: Family Dinner asks a simple question: What if chaos isn't the opposite of love? What if it's the proof of it?
More than anything, I hope this book makes you laugh. If it brings a smile to your face after a long day, then I've done my job.
